Hola,
Born and raised in Mexico City 🇲🇽, I now call NYC home. As a Sr. Software Engineer at Alloy, I build sophisticated and high-performance web-based tools that help banks and fintech startups provide secure and seamless KYC experiences for their customers, enabling financial inclusion while preventing fraud.
Previously at Studio Elsewhere, I designed and developed cutting-edge tools for world-renowned neuroscience researchers, created healing physical environments for healthcare professionals, and built innovative software applications that empowered people with limited abilities to express their creativity. I hold a Master's from the ITP Interactive Telecommunications Program at NYU and a B.S. in Mechatronics & Computer Engineering from Universidad Iberoamericana, Mexico.
I have previously been part of the NYC Mayor's Office for the Chief Technology Officer Smart Cities Lab and Tomorrow Lab, and my work has been featured at the ASCAP Lab Music Association, NYC Media Lab Summit, and the Venice Biennial.
My unique blend of engineering expertise, business acumen, and passion for human-centered design enables me to develop products that not only achieve practical goals but also explore abstract ideas and emotional experiences.
Outside of work, I love playing and composing classical piano music, tinkering with my own musical instruments, getting lost in a good book, sketching, and snow skiing.
I'm always up for nerding out or collaborating on cool projects, so don't be shy, and reach out!
